Introducing the Husband and Wife team behind Apollo Fitness. Mitch and Milly have a shared passion for health and fitness and express this in their daily running of Apollo Fitness.

Mitch’s 10 years experience as a Personal Trainer and his success as a top NZ athlete in Jet Skiing along with Milly’s passion for building a community and integrating health and fitness in to clients lives makes them the ultimate power couple behind the business.

Mitchell Ellis

(General Manager)

Mitch has a Diploma in Sport and Fitness, Representative Level Tennis, Rugby and Athletics, and a 6 times New Zealand Jet Ski Champion, Mitch specializes in athlete performance, HIIT training, circuit training, and has a particular interest in endurance based events and disciplines which he competes in himself.

Mitch has been a personal trainer for 10 years. He was brought into the industry by his own personal trainer and mentor. Mitch is married with two kids and lives a very active lifestyle within his family and own sport, which transfers across into his work and beliefs about fitness.

Mitch played several sports at representative level and wanted to continue with his own high performance knowledge and experience by helping others unlock their potential. He always tried to be the fittest on the sports field even if he wasn’t the biggest or strongest. That’s where his passion for it began.

Dan Rawstorn

Having served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force for the best part of a decade and playing representative rugby Dan has always enjoyed being active.

Dan’s approach to health and fitness is about a balanced and realistic approach that creates sustainable change. There is no quick fix, nothing generic or one size fits all. Through a tailored solution, hard work and consistency he has had clients achieve real results that last.

Cory Harris

Cory is an experienced New Zealand and UK REPs registered Personal Trainer and ASCA Level One Strength and Conditioning Coach. Cory was a Professional Rugby Player in the UK for six years after playing Representative Rugby for Canterbury, NZ. He has competed against, trained, and played alongside world class athletes both in New Zealand and Europe. Cory has now turned his focus on coaching and empowering his clients to overcome their barriers and create positive, long lasting changes in their lives.

Tom Slattery

Health and fitness have played a large part in Tom’s life. He has always believed that a strong exercise routine paired with a well-balanced diet is the best form of medicine, helping you live longer and pain free.

With 2 years of experience as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, Tom has worked with a wide range of clients (from ages 14-75!) helping them reach their goals and achieve their health and fitness dream.

Pairing his passion for living a healthy lifestyle and helping others, has made personal training a dream come true.

“My main focus for all of my clients is to ensure they are getting the results they desire while having fun along the way. But most importantly, creating realistic lifestyle changes to maintain those results”.

Karen Williams

With over 18 years of my own gym experience and now a fully qualified Personal trainer, I’m passionate about helping others improve their health and fitness goals.

As a Mum of 4 I know how stressful life can be, but I also understand the multiple benefits that come from looking after yourself, achieving goals you never thought possible, and improving your overall health.

Jamie Morrison

Fresh to the health and fitness industry after years in the banking sector. I understand the struggle of trying to balance your own health journey with the stressors of day-to-day life and lack of time. I can help you maximize your time inside or outside the gym with the most effective exercises and training programmes.

My main areas of focus include helping people increase; their range of motion, relative strength, and overall fitness. Alongside building supportive nutrition and lifestyle habits to create real, long-lasting results.

If you are struggling with stiff joints, muscle weakness or instability I have mobility and strength strategies that can help you begin to move pain-free, build muscle, and more importantly just feel better in your body.
